For easy to access or find the information over the internet, so that is easier for student to plagiarize, there are 22 respondents on “agree completely”, 20 respondents on agree, 15 respondents “disagree” and the remaining 3 respondent on “disagree completely”. According to result of our research, lack of confident to do something has the highest rate as “agree” where as laziness has the lowest rate as agree. It can be concluded that probably student have a lack of confident to do something and also laziness always do plagiarize in order to complete the task or assignment.

In the case study, a question state to analysis about successfully can avoid plagiarism or not. Figure 4.7 illustrates the analysis of successfully avoiding plagiarism. The graphs summarize the number of respondents that successfully can avoid plagiarism, not successfully avoid plagiarism and not sure. From this graph, we can see that the highest is, successfully can avoid plagiarism which is 26 respondents. The second highest is not sure with 23 respondents. The lowest is not successfully avoiding plagiarism with 11 respondents only. Now, we know the respondents have a confident to successfully avoid plagiarism. However, respondents that not sure also must to look further and this is cause by the respondents do not know what plagiarism is and how to overcome the plagiarism. This element is included in questionnaire to know whether respondents already know the ways to overcome laziness and also want to know the best way to overcome laziness from respondents’ opinion. Laziness is the natural problem in studying among students and they always plagiarize because of that. From this figure 4.5, the best way to prevent laziness is teachers should give deadline to student for submitting their works. Beasley (2004) says “If laziness is a motivating factor, the current climate of easy access to information that can be stolen provides ample temptation”.
Other than that, one of the elements contained in the questionnaire is the best way to prevent plagiarism in studying. That shown in figure 4.6 which is has 50% respondents agree to educate students about plagiarism by explaining what it is and how to avoid it. Most of the students did not know what plagiarism is and also didn’t know the ways to avoid that. From that analysis, teachers are the important role to solve this problem. Teachers should know about plagiarism very well and always advice or educate students for not plagiarize. It is similar to Suarez and Martin (2001) statement that assign due dates for the students to turn in the selected topic or assignment.

Figure 4.4 illustrates the rate of ways to avoiding plagiarism in 2BCN students. According to the figure, that show what should do when teacher tells about plagiarism, easy or difficult to avoid plagiarism and what should do when friend ask to copy paste assignment. About the first ways to avoid plagiarism has 23 respondents which are listening carefully. 15 respondents for think and remember, 13 respondents for all of above and 9 respondents for listen and take notes. The second ways is easy or difficult to avoid plagiarism which is has 19 respondents say difficult because hard to separate ideas from others. 18 respondents say easy because already know about causes of plagiarism and want to make changing. Others, 17 respondents say difficult because lack of confidents to avoid that. The rest, 6 respondents say easy because of teachers has told how to avoid it. The last way to avoid plagiarism is about what should do when friend asks to copy and paste assignment. The next element is ways to overcome laziness. That shown in figure 4.5 which is has 25 respondents agree with give deadline to submit works. A study done by Beasley (2004) says “If laziness is a motivating factor, the current climate of easy access to information that can be stolen provides ample temptation”.

Otherwise, the result is similar to the Hart and Friesner (2004) statement which is student not has a good time management and always plagiarizes to complete any task or assignment.
